Dr. Franz Welser

Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Welser studied Biology and Chemistry at the LMU Munich. He earned his PhD in 1990 working on the splicing of
mitochondrial genes of the yeast S. pombe at Professor K. Wolf´s laboratory at the Munich Institute of Genetics.&xnbsp;
Postdoctoral he worked with Dr. Rupert Timpl at the MPI of Biochemistry on ECM proteins.&xnbsp;

After having positions at Fluka AG and BSL he founded EMP Genetech in 2000 and is still CEO and owner
of the company.
